Recently we’ve seen some of our favourite stylish celebs wearing this flirty daisy print. Throw on a dark pair of shades and boots (or roller skates in Kiernan’s case) and you’ve got the look. Luckily a daisy print purchase can last you right into summer if you just toss the boots and throw on a pair of wedges or sandals.
Here’s some of the best daisy print pieces from Forever 21, Missguided and Topshop. Black and white with a splash of yellow is classic, but we also included a few more colourful options in our choices to mix things up a bit.
Not to state the obvious but…
Happy Friday everyone! What a busy week we’ve had at the Snap Fashion offices. I’ll definitely need to be catching up on some sleep this weekend! What with back-to-back fashion tech talks, retailer events, and an incredibly exciting press preview of the new site we’ve built, there just hasn’t been much time to chill in-between it all. Always good to have so many things going on though, and like I mentioned, I can’t wait to introduce you to the new website we’ve been working on for Westfield. Don’t worry you only have to wait until next week.
Anyway, today rounds off the end of our pastel palette week, which I’ve thoroughly enjoyed covering, and hope you’ve all enjoyed taking some spring/summer fashion inspiration from! I feel we’ve left one of the best pastel shades until last (it’s definitely my favourite) – that perfect powdery blue that just looks so cute, clean, and luxe when worn well.
For some celebrity inspiration I turned to the top red carpet looks, which I love, because although they have the colour in common, they’ve all chosen such different styles that it really proves how flattering pale blue can be! Do you have a favourite..? I think Whitney Port probably wins this one, but I do love Nina and Miranda’s outfits too, it’s just that Whitney seems to live in a state of effortless cool, always looking good but like she’s put in minimal effort, especially in this floor-length silk number. (Don’t worry, I’m well aware of how utterly unfair that is!)
I might be able to pick a favourite celebrity red-carpet style, but I definitely can’t narrow down the selection of fashion items we’ve picked in pastel blue (at least not any more than I have done already). Basically the range of styles, accessories, and shoes that you can find in this particular colour is ridiculously big. We have trousers of different cuts, heels, flats, and even the odd bit of denim slipping in amongst our pastel list of lusting. Don’t forget to hit up Snap ColourPop if you want more options though, or of course the website, there’s certainly tons out there to discover.
Given that I was raving about Peter Pilotto the other day and how super excited we are for the launch of their Target line (with select pieces to be sold on Net-A-Porter), I was not particularly surprised to hear that the designer duo (Peter Pilotto and Chistopher de Vos), were named winners of the 2014 Designer Fashion Fund, sponsored by the British Fashion Council and Vogue.
The editor of British Vogue was quoted saying “They have remained true to their vision of a print and colour-focused brand, but have managed to expand and grow the business to a level where they can now compete on an international stage. It’s a pleasure to be able to support them.”
We’re in full agreement with Alex Shulman and are thrilled to see our current favourite designers receive some solid acknowledgment for their contribution to fashion. How proud we are that those boys are British! Seriously, you just have to check out the line of celebrity looks they’re responsible for to get a sense of how well they’re doing and how much attention their designs are getting. Which ones are your favourites..?
The BAFTAS are a mixed bag when it comes to outfits because of the sheer diversity of tv shows – from high brow to well, TOWIE. Here are your favourites from the red carpet.

Oh look, it’s another sports meets fashion campaign…it must be the Olympics soon! The aim is to obviously inspire/guilt trip us into exercising in pretty things and it kinda works. The campaign is for Reebok’s Easytone trainers and apparently some of the material will be in 3D.
