We are pleased to announce our favourite footwear designer; Christian Louboutin has collaborated with Dita Von Teese, to bring us her XXXtian capsule collection.

Christian Louboutin has created an exclusive Toile De Jouy Italian silk fabric for Dita Von Teese, which is designed to reflect the “essence of French 18th century feminine sophistication.” The line includes Dita’s signature lingerie styles of corsets, suspenders, garter belts and underwire bras trimmed with eyelash lace, and marks the first lingerie collection that has expanded into loungewear, including chemises and robes.

Indulge yourself in the collection here

We don’t know about you, but when we were aged four we could just about draw a straight stick man let alone designing a fashion collection.

But that is exactly what one American four-year old is doing. Since J.Crew’s Jenna Lyons decided to enlist the youngsters help on collaboration.

What’s Jenna’s thoughts, we hear you ask. Well, Mayhem (names so because of her free spirit), has made quite the name for herself as a fashion blogger, thanks to her playful take on red carpet dresses created from playschool type materials such as paper, crayons and plastic bags.

But don’t worry ladies, if you’re not convinced a four-year-old, however talented and cute, has what it takes to design clothes you’d want to wear, now this; Mayhem is collaborating on a kid’s range for J Crew. She’s ready to style your little one’s wardrobe, with maybe your one following next!

Kate Bosworth and Matisse Footwear have teamed up to bring you an incredible new line of shoes. Kate shows her skill with design throughout the collection, which includes star-studded boots and platform sandals.

Speaking about the collaboration, Kate said, “My intention for the collaboration was to create directional designs that are wearable. This is the type of footwear I respect and appreciate in my own wardrobe—designs that are thoughtful, exciting, and mindful of everyday wear.”

The collection will be available at Nordstrom and several other nationwide retailers. It is due to be released in March 2015, so be on the lookout and grab a pair (or two!) of your own!

Karl Lagerfeld has done it again! Last week, he debuted new designs in the Chanel Metiers D’Art Show. The show took place in an 18th century castle in Salzburg, which added to the overall romantic atmosphere of the collection.

The collection featured a variety of fabrics including lace, cashmere, felt, and tweed. There was also a wide array of styles featured, including day dresses, jackets, capes, and coats.

The campaign for the newest Chanel collection featured a film called Reincarnation which featured singer Pharrell Williams and model Cara Delevingne, who is also serving as the face of the collection. The film celebrated Austria’s history, as the duo was dressed as Emperor Franz Joseph I and Empress Elisabeth of Austria.  Be sure to take a look at the incredible collection yourself!

emmaThe results are in! Emma Watson was announced as the winner of the British Style Award last Monday at the 2014 British Fashion Awards. She beat out the other nineteen nominees for the award, including Kate Moss, Amal Clooney, Cara Delevingne, and David Beckham. Last year’s winner, Harry Styles, presented Watson with the award.

02

According to the British Fashion Council, the award is given to “an individual who most embodies the spirit of British fashion and is an international ambassador for London as a leading creative fashion capital.” The recent graduate of Brown University has definitely proven that she is more than qualified for the award, serving as the UN ambassador for the He For She campaign and being a fashion icon for people all over the world.

Since we love Emma and her fashion oh-so-much, we created a Pinterest board with some of our favourite looks of hers (there’s a lot, so prepare yourselves!). Be sure to take a look here.

Last week, Glamour magazine reported that Bridesmaids star Melissa McCarthy is releasing her own fashion line. The line is reported to include not only clothing, but also accessories and beauty products.

Melissa’s fashion line will be released in collaboration with Gerard Guez’s Sunrise Brands. McCarthy, who is known for her always stylish appearance, says she has been “every size on the planet. I have experience dressing me as a 6, a 12 and more. And when you go above a size 12, you don’t lose your love of fashion.”

While she will have plus-sized clothing in her collection, she says her line will features items in all sizes, saying, “…It’s a strange thing to stop at a certain size. Women don’t, so why should clothes?””

If her current style is anything to go by, her line will be full of incredibly stylish, detail-oriented pieces that can find a place in anyone’s wardrobe.

We will be anxiously awaiting the official release of the line, which is currently scheduled for A/W 2015.

Kate Middleton has definitely made a name for herself in the world of fashion. Admired by many for her incredible style, the Duchess of Cambridge always looks sleek and put-together, no matter the occasion. Here at Snap, we can’t get enough of her amazing style.

Whether she is wearing a designer dress on a red carpet or a pair of trousers at a polo match, Kate can do no wrong in our eyes. We love seeing her outfits, and we love that she isn’t afraid to wear an item more than once! (If we had her wardrobe, we’re pretty sure we would change outfits every hour of the day, just so we could wear it all!)

It’s clear that we aren’t the only ones who love Kate’s style- many of the items she has been seen wearing often sell out in-stores and online! Check out some of our favourite looks below.

Topshop partnered with the organization, which has raised over £13.5 million since being founded in 1996, in 2007 and has been actively involved ever since.

The auction will take place on eBay and will begin on 27 November. It will only last for 10 days, so be sure to bid while you can!
