Read what happened when Snap Fashion covered Austin Reed’s SS15 Press Day…

Last week Snap Fashion visited Austin Reed’s iconic Regent Street store to get a first look of their upcoming Spring Summer 2015 collection, and oh my, wasn’t we in for a treat!

The new menswear collection boasted a bold colour pallet and modern fashion forward cuts. Mixing tried and true classics with striking twists on workwear staples. Our favourite being the contemporary fit CUT suits in bright blue, sure to catch everyones eye next season.

We’re also pleased to announce that the womenswear’s collection will not disappoint. We fell head over heels for their new style of coat “the duster coat” – in our favourite Camel shade!

Prepare to be amazed!

BRH+ALLSAINTS1

Snap Fashion are excited to announce that our favourite brand and artist have come together to create a music video.

All hail All Saints for their standout single from legendary New York City trio, Blonde Redhead, and their latest album, Barragan. All Saints tell us that the film, conceived in our very own East London, captures the haunting moods and tripped-out atmospherics that are at the core of the music created by guitarist/vocalist Amedeo Pace, drummer Simone Pace and guitarist/vocalist Kazu Makino.

We love how all of the members of the band are wearing looks from All Saint’s Christmas collection. Lucky for us, some of them are on sale!

The Victoria & Albert Museum has recently announced that it will feature a shoe exhibition that will show from 13 June 2015 through 31 January 2016. The exhibition, dubbed Shoes: Pleasure and Plain, will feature shoes worn throughout history.

According to the museum’s website, the exhibition “will look at the extremes of footwear from around the globe, presenting around 200 pairs of shoes ranging from a sandal decorated in pure gold leaf originating from ancient Egypt to the most elaborate designs by contemporary makers.”

In addition to focusing on historical footwear, the exhibition will feature shoes from some famous figures and collectors, which will no doubt add to the overall significance of the display.

Be sure to check out the exhibition when it begins next summer. In the meantime, be sure to take a look at our shoe board on Pinterest!

emmaThe results are in! Emma Watson was announced as the winner of the British Style Award last Monday at the 2014 British Fashion Awards. She beat out the other nineteen nominees for the award, including Kate Moss, Amal Clooney, Cara Delevingne, and David Beckham. Last year’s winner, Harry Styles, presented Watson with the award.

02

According to the British Fashion Council, the award is given to “an individual who most embodies the spirit of British fashion and is an international ambassador for London as a leading creative fashion capital.” The recent graduate of Brown University has definitely proven that she is more than qualified for the award, serving as the UN ambassador for the He For She campaign and being a fashion icon for people all over the world.

Since we love Emma and her fashion oh-so-much, we created a Pinterest board with some of our favourite looks of hers (there’s a lot, so prepare yourselves!). Be sure to take a look here.

It’s almost time for one of our favourite nights of the year! That’s right, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is right around the corner. After much speculation, VS recently announced the models that made the cut for the coveted spots in the show.

The show will feature Victoria’s Secret Angels Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio, who will both be model the Fantasy Bra. Other Angels include Behati Prinsloo (aka Mrs. Adam Levine), Karlie Kloss, and Lily Aldridge.

Models for the show include Elsa Hosk, Daniela Graga, and the UK’s very own Jourdan Dunn.

If you were lucky enough to snag tickets to the show, which is being held at London’s Earls Court on December 2nd, we are very jealous of you! If you aren’t able to attend, the show will be broadcasted on TV at a later date, so be on the lookout!
