Get ready, Chanel fans! Photographer Douglas Kirkland has recently published a book containing rare and never before seen pictures of famed fashion designer Coco Chanel. The photos were taken in 1962 over a span of three weeks, when Kirkland spent 21 days documenting the designer’s day-to-day activities.

Included in the book are photos of Chanel in her Ritz apartment, on a trip to Versailles, and also gives a behind- the-scenes look at her preparing for a runway show.

The book also features commentary from Kirkland, who explains in detail his experience shadowing the French designer.

According to Vogue, Kirkland will be releasing two editions of the book: a standard version available for $50, and a deluxe limited edition that comes with a signed print, which you can pick up for $250.

The book is now available, so be sure to pick up a copy!
