  1. Orlando Bloom photographs Miranda Kerr for Rag & Bone campaign

We’re not sure what we like best about this campaign

    a) How good Miranda Kerr looks

    b) The super relaxed Rag & Bone collection

    c) How good Orlando Bloom is at playing photographer

    d) A model is SMILING and it’s genuine!

    e) …and the fact that it’s a personal ad campaign that makes you want to wear the clothes and look as happy as Miranda.

No waxing lyrical- just enjoy the pics!

When has a photobooth style pic looked so good?!

    Love this shot

Like these jeans and the happy picture!

    My favourite shot

  2. We like short shorts!

Autumn: a nightmare for clothing! The answer might possibly be shorts- good quality non-glossy looking of course or for the more imaginative, patterned or woolly.

The good news is that while denim shorts are perfectly acceptable, the high street is awash with other more interesting options playing into lots of this season’s hottest trends. Try tweed and flannel for Heritage, leather (like Miranda Kerr) or lace (like Kristen Stewart) for Fetish, boucle for Ladylike and patterned for clashing and general happiness. Here’s a few of our favourites.

These ASOS check shorts are great for Heritage and £30

We love this belt detail. Flannel chain belted shorts £36 from Topshop

Retro shaped and super fun:Flock Dog Denim Shorts By Unique £60

Retro perfection + v Chanel. Classic boucle short with trim £35 from Asos

'Blonde' lace shorts £19.99 Zara (a little like Kristen Stewart's)

Surprisingly wearable leather - Urban Code Tailored Leather Shorts £100 from ASOS - more forgiving than Miranda Kerr's!

Embrace colour with Silence & Noise animal silky pleat shorts £18 from Urban Outfitters

  3. Dior Drab? Miranda Kerr + celebs may disagree

Apparently described as a ‘palate cleanser’ after John Galliano left a bad (racist and anti-semitic) taste in Dior’s mouth, this was one play-it-safe collection!

Apparently the idea of this first post-Galliano collection was to say – ‘hey, we’re Dior, we’re still classy, classic and so damned tasteful!’ So I guess that works. I actually really liked some of the dresses. Overall, maybe it was a little tame for the catwalk but infinitely wearable?

However, more exciting was the frow action! Orlando Bloom is clearly his wife, Miranda Kerr‘s biggest fan, while Leigh Lezark, Olivia Palermo and Poppy Delevingne in attendance too.

I would quite like this super cute cream print Dior dress

  4. PFW: Alexa Chung +Salma Hayek sit frow @ Stella McCartney

Supermodels Natalia Vodianova and Miranda Kerr modelled Stella McCartney’s latest collection, which boasted an impressive frow, comprising Salma Hayek, Alexa Chung, Twiggy and more.

Inspiration might have come from your dad’s tie collection, with paisley tie prints blown up and adorning asymmetrical mini dresses and combined with sportswear mesh and baroque-inspired hemlines. Less overtly sexy than Stella’s last collection, sheer cut-away details still figured – making this S/S12 offering possibly the thinking girl’s way to do delicately provocative?

There was also a hint of pyjama party (not in a furry Ugg slipper, huge dressing gown way (a.k.a. my way) but in a slouchy trouser and relaxed top way – one trend possibly best left to the experts?

  5. Nicola Roberts steals the show at Digital Music Awards

Woah not a week goes by when we’re not impressed by Nicola Roberts’ eclectic fashion sense. We’ve only just finished marvelling at her crazy pom pom shorts and many LFW frow outfits and now she gives as a daring monochrome maxi!

Surprisingly wearable - would you dare?

This kind of reminds us of the prints we saw at the Topshop Unique show at LFW. We also liked model Zara Martin’s floral frock and Prince Harry’s ex Florence Brudenell-Bruce’s perfect leather dress (giving Miranda Kerr a run for her money on the best way to do the leather trend this season).

    Zara in fantastic florals

Beautiful buttery leather dress (LOVE!) Well done Florence

Also noted for casual wear- the celebs love the cropped sweater – see Jessie J (who had to skip the awards) and Nicola Roberts again – is there any look she can’t do?

Jessie J joins the cropped sweatshirt posse even though she was MIA from the awards

  6. Miranda Kerr shows how to work a leather skirt

OK so not everyone has a figure like Miranda Kerr but she does show how to rock one of this season’s key pieces (and trickiest trends) – a leather skirt – without looking like an exotic dancer.

Miranda’s casual t-shirt makes the skirt daytime friendly, whilst the classy court shoes elongate her legs (like she needs any help!)

Mixing a coloured leather bag and classic black skirt = Parisian chic

Get the look and 50% off! ASOS leather mini skirt haf price at £32.50

She also rocks the 70s blouse trend to perfection and is clearly a fan of the floppy hat, just like Olivia Palermo and Rachel Zoe…find out where to get the look for £8!
