  1. Clements Ribeiro for Evans

Here at Snap we believe in dressing for your body shape and feeling confident and comfortable in clothes. Of course we’ve had plenty of amazing designer and high street collaborations of late but this one is super exciting – Clements Ribeiro for Evans.

For those not in the know, Evans caters for curvy women but is amazing for its punchy prints and bright colours – a far cry from 1990s stylists’ suggestions that larger ladies must only wear baggy black dresses – the cheek! So the collection with Clements Ribeiro is perfection, with plenty of pretty prints and flirty shapes, which are handily organised by body shape (AT LAST!)

It’s great to see Evans embracing all the trends- sheer, pattern clashing and daring accessories. Apparently the collection is really well made with sharp and structured tailoring as well as playful touches such as cute heart prints.

Ribeiro told The Telegraph: “For our first range we addressed the different body shapes, with styles which are accessible but modern, with an emphasis on prints and femininity. It was our starting point, understanding different proportions and different needs behind a desire for fashion that is not different from the high fashion consumer. Far from being apologetic or patronising, we celebrated curves and voluptuousness.”

We really like the high fashion photography and it seems so is singing superstar Adele, who wore a frock for a concert in Canada and is rumoured to have snapped up the lot.

The collection lands on 31 March in sizes 14-32 and prices start at £25, although most dresses are priced closer to £100. Go forth and shop!

    Sleek and sexy LBD

Rumoured to be a dress from the collection - we're not sure if it is, but Adele looks pretty!

My fav dress from the collection (although I'd wear it with a jersey tube skirt underneath, chicken that I am)

  2. PFW: the return of the LBD

Thank you Paris our prayers have been answered. So many girls chase trends (us included) and spend hours putting together the perfect ‘going out’ ensemble, when the classic little black dress makes us feel great each time. After a long absence from the catwalk, we spied some beautiful examples of perfect LBDs. Want!

    Classy Dior

Chanel goes a little spacey - I'd lose the trousers and stick to high court shoes but Kagerfeld must know best!

    Effortlessly sexy at Isabel Marant

    Sheer perfection at Nina Ricci

I love the classic shape of this Roland Mouret number

    A fluted affair at Valentino

I love this Vanessa Bruno dress - perfection

  3. MFW: LBDs to die for from Gucci, Versace, Pucci + more

No-one does grown-up glamour like the Italians, especially making the LBD look out of this world. After the effort of colour blocking, print clashing and working tricky pastels, it’s nice to be able to throw on a LBD to look (and feel) a million dollars…so thanks Italian designers for giving girls what we really want!

Gucci brought strategically-placed foliage, velvet and a touch of military romance to the catwalk (some red carpet looks here y’all) while Alberta Ferretti’s dresses were softer and beautifully made (and my personal favourite).

Gucci gown on Angelina Jolie's wish list?

    Super sexy LBD

    Foliage gets risque

    Beautiful Alberta Ferretti (want!)

Oh to have this dress for the Christmas party season!

Versace’s collection was all about the tough girl (with scary hair) and party armour, with mesh creating structured pieces, fishnets, leather and a touch of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo about it.

And so on to Pucci. Sheer panels and geometric shapes were the order of the day. There were confusing references about the Bell du Jour look but if you ask us this is about self-assured women looking sexy, a little provocative in a covered-up (just) intriguing way.

    FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIERCE!!!

    Sheer + sexy at Pucci

  5. Dionne Bromfield wows at the Hervé Léger party

Last night Hervé Léger threw a party and guess what guests wore? Bandage dresses per chance? Yup.

We loved Dionne Bromfield’s berry festive dress, while Peaches Geldof looked good in a black bandage classic. Personally I’m not a huge body-con dress fan and as a pear-shaped girl opt for A-line dresses every time but I am loving cherry and berry-hued dressed for Christmas.

Dionne + Peaches do the bandage classic proud

And the models show off Herve's wares

  6. Cameron Diaz’s super short skirt

Snaps to Cameron Diaz for looking so incredible in a super short shirt dress. Nope, it wasn’t high fashion or particularly adventurous in the style stakes, but doesn’t she look great? We love Cameron’s classy gold-heeled shoes too.

How does she sit down with dignity?!

  7. Versace for H&M Launch: Celebs in New York

Not a day goes by when we don’t hear some sort of excitement/hype about Versace’s collection for H&M and last night the stars were out in force at the official launch in New York.

Many of the celebs were wearing clothes from the new collection (perks eh?), with Emma Roberts and Nicky Minaj wearing daring trousers and matching tops, while Jennifer Hudson, Jessica Alba, Selma Blair and Chloe Moretz donned cute dresses. Helena Christensen and Sofia Coppola looked amazing in a simple figure-hugging black dress from the collection and Blake Lively kept her outfit monochrome- although we’re not sure if it’s Versace – it’s not H&M!

Top fashion marks to Emma Roberts for pulling this tricky outfit off!

Chloe Moretz is mellow in yellow

Selma Blair is pretty in pink

My favourite- Jessica Alba sparkles in Versace for H&M separates

Jennifer Hudson sticks to an LBD

Helena Christensen + Sofia Coppola wear the same dress...

    ...who wore it best?

Which items do you have your eye on when the collection launches in the UK on 17th of November?

  8. Scarlett Johansson in Dolce & Gabbana frow

We were so so worried about D&G winding down as it’s defined some serious trends for over a decade but Dolce & Gabbana is still very much alive and our go-to for sassy evening wear (after we win the lottery).

Inspiration: Glamour and incredibly detailed beading in a Vegas show girl kind of way. And vegetables (who’d have thought!) Of course Italian culture also figured…PASTA EARRINGS!

The Look: For party time: sexy crocheted and lace black dresses showing a lot of skin, dresses encrusted with plenty of coloured stones mixed with glitzy fringing, show-girl style sequinned swimsuits with fringing.

For daytime, Dolce & Gabanna took inspiration from vegetables (in a more grown-up way than Moschino Cheap & Chic) with chills, aubergines, onions and tomatoes creating rural idyll print retro-style dresses. Full skirts, printed chiffon, cut-out cotton playsuits and 1950s style underwear made for a sexy rustic look.

Best Bit: The finale where models packed the catwalk wearing retro sequinned swimwear. So glam.

Notes: Scroll all the way down for the frow including Scarlett and Paloma Faith.

An evening dress to die for (must weigh a tonne with all that beading!)

    Sewing skillz innit.

    50s inspiration but so glam

The Dolce look we know and love.

A snapshot of the models in lots of different sparkly swimsuits.

    WOW!

Lemon loving (hello, it's yellow again!)

Chilli pepper print = hot day wear trend

Pasta earrings - a DIY project?

    And now for the frow…

And nude coloured lace for the main event

Paloma wows in Dolce & Gabanna gown (black, of course)

Poppy Delevigne keeps it simple in classic LBD
