  1. Stella McCartney + My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding

I bet you never thought you’d see these two in the same sentence, right? Well, the link lies in pineapples and palm trees, sported by these lovely ladies in My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding…and favoured by super stylish Stella McCartney.

Stella’s SS12 collection features an abundance of palm trees and one of her most iconic outfits that made her name as a designer, featured a palm tree. And guess what? The high street is going crazy for our fav tropical fruit and foliage too. Enjoy x

    "She's a pineapple..." (one of Stella'searly collections)

  2. Giselle + Natalia Vodianova walk for Givenchy + celeb frow

Givenchy wheeled out the supermodels to show off its latest collection in Paris – another seaside influenced collection with sharp tailoring and couture influences.

Seriously tight trousers were a little like wetsuits, sharks tooth necklaces, textured fabrics like fish scales and sandy colours evoked seaside sexy – no sticks of rock or deckchairs as inspiration as seen at Jaeger and Mulberry LFW.

    Giselle WOW!

Natalia with beachy hair (love the trousers)

Our fav dress of the collection

  3. British Seaside at Jaeger with Pixie Lott + Olivia Palermo

Jaeger usually ticks quite a few androgynous boxes but this year showcased a more feminine collection with lots of broderie anglasie dresses, lace, soft pleats and innocent culottes  for a kind of British seaside feel (perhaps in a 70s ice-cream kind of way!)

The collection also boasted some work-wear lust-haves, with navy and white polka dot dresses, nude shirts with black bows, striped shifts and cute tailored shorts. We want it all!

70s Mr Blue Sky dress with lemon yellow sleeves - yummy. Reminds us a little of Henry Holland's colour palette.

    Just peachy!

The most perfect white summer dress ever?

    Deckchair inspired? We LOVE it!

Shorts to die for - we could wear these 100 ways *investment piece!*

A fresh take on the breton tee. We actually need this top.

Pixie Lott was in attendance in a seriously short Breton dress accessorised with a sequined collar and her trusty brogues, while Olivia Palermo rocked a tux.

Breton babe Pixie Lott was in attendence

Does Olivia Palermo ever put a stylish foot wrong?
