Perfect for spring, pale pinks, fresh whites and subtle lilacs and mauves were favourite choices for actresses at the Oscars last night. We won’t go on about who won what (everybody knows!) so instead we’ve rounded up some favourite frocks worn by attendees of the awards and various glamorous parties going on as Hollywood gives itself its annual pat on the back.

The fash pack descended for Jade Jagger’s wedding, including Kate Moss, who looked like she was wearing AW12 McQueen, but it was Mick Jagger’s candy-striped suit that really grabbed our attention!
There was no sign of Georgia-May in the Daily Mail’s photo set at least, but Bianca Jagger debuted a second wedding outfit – a men’s tux – after the black and white ensemble. While black might be unusual for most summer weddings, we’re guessing its the norm at a fashion do…best leave the pastels to Mick!
It’s very rare that you can get your hands on ten designer fashion items for under a fiver, but Royal Mail has released a limited edition collection of fashion stamps with ten high-end designs from some of our favourites -and we plan on stocking up.
Amazingly, despite the speed of fashion blogs and the constant evolution of fashion trends, the fashion world loves a letter. Invitations to fashion shows are imaginative and lavish and almost always arrive by post or courier…and we have seen some deliciously fashionable stationary too. In a world of emails and texts (believe us we’re not knocking technology for a second) receiving a letter on pretty stationary can still be awesome, especially if it comes on chic personalised Smythson stationary, for example. Will you be putting a stamp on your stationary with the Royal Mail collection?

From flouncy florals at Nina Ricci and Cacherel, to pale pastels at Roland Mouret, Dior and Alexander McQueen, there were some cute feminine pieces at Paris Fashion Week – much less about the punchy digital floral prints of London and more focused on some Parisian romance, with references to yester-years from almost puritanical cuts to 1940s and 1950s lady-like silhouettes.

Nope it’s not Halloween again, but Emma Roberts has been spotted out and about in a skeleton print sweater, resurrecting a spooky trend that was all the rage in AW08 -maybe. Are you a fan?
