Kate Middleton vs Little Mix – McQueen battle!
One is the future queen of England, the others have just been crowned the winners of X Factor … but both look great in McQueen.
The Duchess of Cambridge a.k.a. Kate Middleton stepped out in a £4,000 Alexander McQueen black velvet dress with satin Prada pumps and some serious bling. She was attending A Night of Heroes at The Imperial War Museum, to mark the achievements of members of the Armed Forces.

Meanwhile, X Factor winners Little Mix all wore McQueen – well, the budget version, McQ by McQueen for a Grazia shoot. Leigh Ann from the band wore the now famous puff-ball dress, as seen on Rihanna, Emma Watson + so many more celebs …gallery here!

I absolutely adore ALL of the Alexander McQueen designs featured here, and the Little Mix girls look so chic & polished on the Grazia cover, whilst still maintaining their cool, edgy vibe!
But I have to admit that Kate Middleton pips them to the post in my opinion! I think Kate’s strapless, black velvet McQueen maxi-gown for last nights’s Military Awards is her most sensational look yet (and she’s pulled off a lot of sensational styles)! Kate has perfected classic glamour in this dress, which has created fabulous feminine curves on her willowy figure! It really suits her, looks so luxurious & sophisticated, but Kate has kept the look fresh & youthful with simple, flowing locks & subtle make-up!
