Tricky tights: Giles Deacon + House of Holland

We love wearing shorts and tights in the Autumn- a perfect transitional trick to get extra millage out of stuff you already have in your wardrobe (although this year there are some amazing alternatives to tried-and-tested denim shorts.)

The good news is that statement tights are also having a moment and look fantastic with simple shorts or on-trend plain pencil skirts. Giles Deacon’s patterned tights caught our eye in New Look, with one pair reminding us of Cheryl Cole’s bondage-style tights that she wore on X-Factor at around this time last year.
